ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A tornado warning has been issued for Winnebago County.
The warning has been issued until 6:45 p.m., according to the national weather service. A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Durand, or 9 miles west of Rockton, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Residents should take cover now.
