ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The closed stretch of Guilford Road extending from Alpine to Milford Road is expected to reopen by Labor Day weekend, according to Rockford Township.
The road was closed on July 11 for bridge repairs, and although work was expected to last only one month, the project will now leak into September.
