ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) – Winnebago County’s Administrator will stay on the job for another month.
Winnebago County Board members learned Thursday that Carla Paschal has agreed to stay in her position until August 31st. She had been scheduled to leave August 2nd after announcing her resignation last month. The County Administrator position has been a source conflict recently. Two weeks ago, board members voted to take the power to name a replacement for Paschal out of the hands of Board Chairman Frank Haney. The Personnel and Polices Committee could soon have that task.
Haney was expected to name an interim administrator during Thursday night’s meeting, but that did not happen.
