Winnebago Post Office to dedicate ‘First Responders’ stamp on July 4th

Local News

WINNEBAGO, Ill. (WTVO) — The Post Office in Winnebago will host a special event recognizing first responders with a special stamp dedication on July 4th.

The stamp is illustrated with three first responders – fire, medical, and police – rushing into action.

The event honors those who serve and goes along with the 4th of July celebrations to be held in downtown Winnebago, on Benton Street.

The ‘Honoring First Responders’ stamp salutes the men and women who serve their communities with their skill, dedication and bravery, according to the U.S. Post Office.

A limited supply of the stamps will be available for sale beginning July 5th.
