Local police host National Night Out Against Crime events on Tuesday

Local police departments will be hosting National Night Out Against Crime events on Tuesday, August 7th. 

Residents are asked to turn on and display outside lights, lock their doors, and spend a positive evening outside with their neighbors.

Belvidere’s event will be held at the Four Seasons pool park on Club Circle between 385 Elder Lane and 254 Fox Lane, beginning at 5 p.m.

Beloit’s event will be held at the Harry C. Moore Pavillion in Riverside Park from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Rockford Police will host an event at Leving’s Lake, 1420 Pierpont Avenue, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Ronald McDonald, the McDonald’s restaurant mascot, will be in attendance.

Roscoe Police will host an event at the Village of Roscoe Police Department, at 10595 Main St, Roscoe from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be free food, games, door prizes, car show, dunk tank, bounce houses, ice cream and more.

Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department will host an event at the Machesney Park Mall at 8750 N. Second Street from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Winnebago Police Department will host an event in the 100 block of W. Main Street, Winnebago.
