A Loves Park woman is $250,000 richer after buying a lottery scratch off ticket at a local gas station.
Laura Carroll won the grand prize on the Casino Royale ticket purchased at the Phillips 66 on Perryville. The retailer gets $2,500 for selling it.
“This is incredible,” said Carroll. “I am going to pay off all of my student loans.”
Carroll purchased the ticket for $5.
