Love’s Travel Stops is hiring more than 3,600 people nationwide this summer, with 100 of those in Illinois.
The travel chain made the announcement on Wednesday. Love’s has several locations in Illinois, including one in Roscoe.
The Rockford City Council approved a request by Love’s Travel Stops to open a combo truck stop and Hardee’s restaurant on the southeast corner of U.S. 20 and South Main Street in Rockford in late 2019.
Founded in 1964 and headquartered in Oklahoma City, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores has more than 450 locations in 41 states, providing professional truck drivers and motorists with 24-hour access to gasoline, diesel fuel, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), travel items, electronics, snacks and more.
