Make-A-Wish helps epileptic Beloit teen realize dream joining LAPD SWAT team

TOWN OF BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — The Town of Beloit Police Department and the Los Angeles Police Department’s SWAT team and the Make-A-Wish Foundation joined forces to make a Beloit teenager realize his dream on Friday.

15-year-old Kolton Witte was sworn in as a police officer at Beloit City Hall today.

Kolton has dealt with epileptic seizures for his entire life, after he was born with a traumatic brain injury.

His father is an officer with the Beloit Police Department.

Kolton will head to Los Angeles for SWAT training next month.
