A 21-year-old man was recently arrested and charged with bestiality for allegedly having sex with a miniature male pony named “Jackie G.”

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nicholas Anthony Sardo after several witnesses told reported Sardo was having sex with the pony. One witness said she saw Sardo having sex with Jackie G in a pasture on a family member’s property, according to the sheriff’s office Facebook post in which deputies call the arrest “Justice for Jackie G.”

Sardo has since confessed to having sex with the horse four times during the course of a week and admitted that he used a condom each time because he didn’t want to get a disease from the horse, according to the sheriff’s office.

Additionally, Sardo told a detective that he knew it was wrong and said he was a sick man, officials said.

Sardo was charged with four counts of bestiality/sexual contact with an animal, officials said.

He was being held in the Marion County Jail as of Monday.

One of Sardo’s family members is the owner of the horse and the horse is currently under their care, sheriff’s officials said.

Stipulations of Sardo’s future contact with the horse could be determined by a judge in the near future, officials said.
