Man arrested after deputies find more than 11 pounds of cannabis and 9 ounces of cocaine

Belvidere – Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit

BOONE COUNTY, Ill. (WTVO) — The Belvidere/ Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit arrested a Rockford man on several drug charges.

Deputies say they found around 264 grams of cocaine, 5,000 grams of cannabis and $2,300 in cash at a home on 39th Avenue in Rockford on Thursday.

Pablo Mora, 25, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and unlawful possession with intent to deliver cannabis.

Mora is currently on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a previous narcotics violation.

Officials say additional arrests are possible.
