Police make an arrest after a short chase on Rockford’s east side.
Officers tried to pull over the driver of a Chevy Impala after he blew a stop sign at Arbour Court and 15th Avenue. The man fled turning north onto 11th St., and eventually crashed into a snowbank after turning left onto 11th Avenue.
Police arrested 31-year-old Dontrail Givens for fleeing police, DUI, and several other weapons charges.
