31-year-old Scott Miller, of Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 25 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for transporting 153 grams of heroin.
The Boone County State’s Attorney says Miller was stopped for a traffic violation on Interstate 90 on July 3rd, 2018.
Records showed Miller was wanted on an out-of-state warrant and had a revoked driver’s license.
Police say Miller had 153.1 grams of heroin in the passenger seat of the vehicle.
He pleaded guilty in court to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance on April 10th.
