Friday night, a man was robbed at gunpoint while walking in Rockford.
It happened around 10 p.m. in the 900 block of 16th Avenue.
A 19-year old told Rockford Police he was approached by a suspect who displayed a handgun and stole personal items from him before fleeing on foot.
The victim was not hurt during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 22-years-old, 5’5″ tall, and 150 pounds.
