Man Wanted in Fatal Cliffbreakers Shooting Turns Himself Into Police

Sean Burks, 31, the man accused of shooting two people, killing one, during a New Year’s party at Cliffbreakers Resort has turned himself into police.

On January 1, 2017, police responded to the Cliffbreakers Resort for reports of a fight and shots fired. Officers found two victims at the scene, one of them, Joshua Jamerson, was dead. The second victim survived.

A warrant was eventually put out for Burks arrest, charged with first degree murder.
