A massive barn fire Sunday night in Rock County has caused an estimated $350,000 in damage.

Firefighters from several department and deputies with the Rock County Sheriff’s Department were called to 2403 N State Highway 213 in Magnolia Township.  The homeowners reported the fire when they observed smoke and flames coming from the building where a milk truck was parked inside.

The roadway was closed and re-routed for approximately five hours while units from the Evansville, Albany, Footville, Orfordville, Oregon, Brodhead, Monticello, and the Town of Beloit fire departments battled the blaze.  Investigators say a mechanical/electrical issue was the cause.

There were no injuries.
