UPDATE: DeKalb County Authorities say Marvin Davis was found dead in his vehicle Friday in Thurston County Nebraska.

Davis’s cause of death has yet to be determined, but authorities say his death is not being called suspicious.

Authorities are looking for man missing since Monday.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says Marvin Davis’ family last spoke with him Monday night on the phone.  He had stopped at a hotel in Sioux City, IA.  Officials say Davis told his family he left to be with a former companion in Washington.

They haven’t heard from him since.

Investigators say Davis suffers from early onset dementia.  Based on cell phone records, they believe he may still be between Sioux City and Omaha, NE.  Deputies in both states are assisting with the investigation.

Davis drives a burgundy/maroon 2010 Ford Ranger with an extended cab pickup truck.  His license plate number is 1330216.  Anyone with information on Davis’ whereabouts are urged to call the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office at 815-895-2155.
