Missouri man reunited with lost dog in Rockford

News

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A Missouri truck driver was reunited with his dog in Rockford on Monday, after little Bosco got loose following a car accident on Friday on I-90.

According to the Winnebago County Animal Services (WCAS), the driver was involved in a car accident near the I-39 interchange at Magic Waters, and in the confusion, the dog, Bosco, got loose.

Some time later that day, a Rockford man was on his way to take his girlfriend to O’Hare when they spotted Bosco running along the highway. They stopped and picked him up, and took him home.

With the help of the WCAS, he was able to get in touch with Bosco’s family in Missouri, and the reunion took place on Monday.
