More of Former Dixon Comptroller’s Belongings Up For Auction

Crundwell Transferred to Minnesota Prison_4387803151744582845

The U.S. Marshals office is auctioning off the last of Rita Crundwell’s belongings.

Many of the items up for sale are leftover from previous online auctions that ran in October and November.  Opening bids for them have been lowered as a result.

Some of the items up for sale include jewelry, decorations, horse competition awards, and clothes.  The most expensive item is currently a fur coat, starting price is $1,235.

Money raised from the auction will go to the city of Dixon.  Crundwell is currently serving a near 20 year prison sentence for stealing more than $50 million from the city over the course of two decades.
