National Night Out Against Crime


Tonight is the kick off for the National Night Out Event and our local police departments want you to get involved.

From Belvidere to Rockford, on up to Rock County, all events begins at 5 p.m.

All of them boast fun activities like meet-and-greets with officers, demonstrations, entertainment and refreshments.

National Night Out started 34-years-ago as a community building campaign with police to make neighborhoods safer.

In Beloit, it’ll be held at the Rotary River Center located at 1160 Riverside Drive.

Rock County area residents can attend at the Racetrack Park located at 900 Stoughton Road, Edgerton, WI.

Rockford’s event will be held at Dahlquist Park (3251 Oak Grove Avenue, Rockford, IL 61108).
