Family releases home videos of missing 5-year-old girl

(CNN) — Police in New Jersey release new video of a 5-year-old girl who has been missing more than a week.

They’re hoping it spurs some people to provide information that may help locate her.

She likes to jabber while taking selfies, and belt out that famous line from the movie Frozen.

“Let it go.”

In other words, a cute and fun-loving little girl who deserves our help.

That’s Noema Alavez Perez’s hope.

Through a friend, Perez sent us these home videos of her 5-year-old daughter Dulce, who hasn’t been seen or heard from since last Monday, when she disappeared from Bridgeton City Park.

Family hopes perhaps someone who’s been with-holding information will see this video, hear Dulce’s innocent little voice and have a heart.

“I think we’re all feeling the pain that the mother is feeling,” said business owner, Fred MacFarland.

You can see the tears well up in the retired state trooper, MacFarland’s eyes when he talks about Dulce.

He like many merchants in downtown Bridgeton are posting missing person signs for Dulce on their windows and talking about the case with customers.

“The whole town has really gotten behind this,” said MacFarland.

One way people in Bridgeton can help is by looking in their phones or cameras to see if they took any pictures or videos last Monday afternoon.

The FBI wants them to check for clues.

Wednesday night, the FBI tweeted a link to a page for Dulce where people can easily upload their pictures and videos.

“We had quite a bit of footage from like 4:30 to 6:30 of just cars going back and forth,” said business owner Melissa Helmbrecht.

Helmbrecht who runs “Hope Loft” submitted video to investigators, and says it’s the least a person can do to help find Dulce.

“Every kid matters, especially somebody as precious as she is and we’re just waiting for her to come home safe,” Helmbrecht said.

Authorities are offering a $35,000 reward for information that helps them find Dulce.
