(WTVO) — According to a new analysis by U.S. News and World Report, Illinois ranks at #35 of the best and worst 50 states in the U.S.
Washington was ranked as the best state in the nation, while Lousiana and Alabama are the worst.
The rankings factored in health care, education, economy, infrastructure, opportunity, fiscal stability, crime and corrections, and natural environment.
