Ohio (WTVO) — A state patrolman in Ohio is being hailed a hero after saving a toddler from choking.
Sergeant Ty Skaggs saw the woman’s car on the side of the road, holding a toddler and waving him down.
The child’s mother quickly handed over her 2-year-old son who was choking on a chicken nugget.
Sergeant Skaggs immediately started the heimlich maneuver on the body, which dislodged the food from his throat.
He then stayed with the family until paramedics arrived.
