Allegiant has announced non-stop service from Rockford to the Florida panhandle beginning June 5th.

That means you’ll be able to fly into Destin-Fort Walton Beach for as little as $59 each way (during introductory sale fares).

The new seasonal flights will operate twice weekly.

“We’re very excited to announce this brand new service from Rockford,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue in a news release. “We’re sure area travelers will take advantage of our friendly, nonstop, ultra-low-cost service to enjoy all that the Emerald Coast has to offer.”

The new seasonal flights will operate twice weekly. With the addition of this new route, Allegiant will now serve six cities from Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD). Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
