New Website May Help Officials Catch Criminals in Their Communities

The Roscoe Police Department has implemented a new tool in order to catch criminals-a website called

Officers in Roscoe are hoping it will help them catch suspects wanted for questioning.

As technology advances, so does identity theft, and related crimes like credit card fraud.

These crimes have plagued society, especially in recent years, but now visitors to this site can help reduce their own chances of becoming a victim.

If you happen to recognize someone, then just enter in as much information as you can, and that gets sent to the law enforcement that originally submitted the picture.

Much like Crimestoppers, it’s 100 percent anonymous, they don’t need to know who you are, just who you know.

And even though it’s free to use, it has a $25 reward for those whose tips lead to suspects being caught.

The more information you provide about the suspect, the better the chances of catching them.

Detective Wilder says he’s excited to start using it–and in a small community like Roscoe, it can definitely help.
