A group of concerned citizens need your help to keep a summer Rockford staple operating.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to raise money for the Forest City Queen. Organizers hope to raise $22,000. So far, it’s raised $200.
The money will be used to cover repairs for the riverboat, as well as operational costs. The Rockford Park District shut down the boat rides to address a $1 million deficit earlier this year. The fundraising deadline is April 13th.
