Police make an arrest in a shooting investigation two months after a man was shot.

On Friday, police took Charles Brown, 34, of Rockford, into custody. He’s accused of being involved in a shooting back on May 24 that left a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the lower body. The victim survived.

Authorities are now looking for a second man involved. He is Jadale Lamon, 26, also of Rockford. A photo of Lamon can be seen above. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Rockford Police.

Both men are charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm. Lamon faces an additional charge of armed habitual criminal.
