Police catch two suspects during break-in to S. Main business, third at large

Two people were caught robbing a business on South Main Street on Thursday.

Rockford Police say they responded to a burglary in progress at a warehouse at Comprehensive Community Solutions in the 900 block of South Main Street around 9 p.m, and found a window broken out and several quarts of motor oil had been taken.

Officers spotted three or four suspects running away; two were caught and taken into custody. A juvenile male suspect remains at large.

Bryan Lopez, 20, of Loves Park, was charged with burglary.

Winter Murphy, 18, of Machesney Park, was charged with burglary.

Both were taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
