A Rockford church has released surveillance photos of two suspects caught on video vandalizing the church, including throwing rocks through windows.

The vandalism has been reoccurring all month at St. Rita Church on Valley Knoll Drive.

Since the beginning of July, vandals have stolen the church’s American flag, stolen wood that was then used to build a makeshift cross, which was planted upside down on church property. They have also broken and damaged windows using rocks.

At least two suspects are believed to be responsible. They were caught on surveillance video damaging property. A still frame image of those suspects can be seen above.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office at 815-319-6600.
