Police are hoping to bring a teenager into custody for his involvement in an alleged gang fight back in November.

On the evening of November 11th, Rockford Police responded to Mr. J’s Restaurant on Kishwaukee for reports of a fight between three individuals. When they arrived, the subjects were gone.

A follow up investigation led to the identity of the victim in the fight, a 17-year-old male. Police learned that the victim’s attackers were rival gang members. They were eventually able to identify one of them as Tyrone Anderson, 18, of Rockford. They weren’t able to identify the second suspect.

A warrant was issued Tuesday for Anderson’s arrest. He’s charged with aggravated battery.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call Rockford Police at (779) 500-6551.
