ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Three people are in custody and face charges following a burglary investigation search that occurred Friday afternoon.
Rockford Police Financial and Property Crime Detectivies have been investigating a buglary where several firearms were stolen from the 3700 block of Robey Avenue.
According to authorities the investigation led them to obtain a search warrant for 222 Euclid Avenue.
Friday, September 20th, detectives and Rockford Police Department’s SWAT team made contact with the occupants of the residence and ordered them to exit, officials said.
Two of the three occupants complied while one remained inside.
Detectives were able to recover two firearms, ammunition, pills containing a controlled substance and more than three ounces of cocaine.
Three suspects were arrested.
22-year-old Matthew Roan was arrested for unlawful use of weapons by a felon possession of firearm and ammunition, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and no FOID.
25-year-old James Gallagher was arrested for unlawful use of weapons by a felon, possession of Cocaine and no FOID.
The last suspect arrested was 40-year-old Amanda Ferguson for possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to authorities the investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests are possible.
