A new CNN poll finds Americans split on whether President Donald Trump will get a second term, and preferring Joe Biden to Bernie Sanders.

According to the poll, 47% of those surveyed say President Trump will not get re-elected. 46% think he will. Those numbers are better than they were earlier this year; back in March, 54% adults surveyed thought he would lose a re-election bid.

On the Democratic side, former Vice President Joe Biden leads a pack of possible presidential contenders. When asked to choose their preference among 16 candidates, 33% said Biden could win in 2020, compared to 13% who backed 2016 Democratic runner-up Senator Bernie Sanders.

The poll surveyed 1,009 Americans by telephone between October 4th and October 7th.
