Radio Talk Show Host Scot Bertram Signs Off From 1440 WROK

A staple of talk radio is moving on to a new career challenge.

Scot Bertram has resigned from 1440 WROK to work as the General Manager of Hillsdale College’s new radio station in Michigan.

Bertram has co-hosted the “Riley and Scot” show with Riley O’Neil since 2008.

Bertram says it wasn’t an easy decision to leave but it was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

“My skill set, my passions and beliefs all line up very well with what they’re doing up there,” he says. “So, it’s one of those things that I had to investigate and had to look into.”

Bertram says he’ll miss being able to report on the 2016 election, describing election night like “Christmas morning” for him.

He starts his new job on Monday.

Bertram has posted more details on his move on his Facebook page, which can be found here.
