Raheem King, Rockford’s triple murder suspect, arrested

News

Rockford police have arrested Raheem King, the suspect wanted in connection with Saturday’s triple murder on board a chartered party bus.

King is charged with 4 counts of First Degree Murder. He is currently being housed in the Winnebago County Jail. No bond is set, pending a felony arraignment.

According to Rockford Police Chief Dan O’Shea, King hid out with his girlfriend, Lakeacia Kizart, 21, who was also arrested and is charged with Concealing or Aiding a Fugitive, a Class 4 Felony that could result in 1-3 years in prison if she is convicted. Kizart is being held on a $1 million bond.

Both King and Kizart turned themselves in to Rockford Police on Wednesday.
