Rochelle Township High School went on soft lockdown Wednesday morning after reports that a gun was found inside a locker within the school.
Rochelle Police were called to the school and searched the locker, determining the weapon was a BB gun. As a result, two juvenile males were taken into custody.
The incident remains under investigation.
School officials say students were never in any danger.
