Rochelle teen honors 25 fallen Marines with her prom dress design

A Rochelle high school senior shows her patriotism with her prom dress.

Aubrey Headon, a student at Rochelle Township High School designed an American flag-inspired two-piece outfit to honor 25 marines killed in the line of duty.

The red and white ribbons draped over a skirt reveal the names of the fallen troops printed in black and white.

A matching blue halter top features embellishments that look like stars.

Headon paying tribute to 25 members of the third battalion, 5th marines, also known as darkhorse who died while serving in Afghanistan between September 2010 and April 2011.

She says she was inspired to make the prom dress after meeting the mother of a fallen marine.

Since posting her prom dress on social media, Headon reportedly received tons of messages of support.
