The iconic rock band ‘Chicago’ will be coming to Rockford to play at the Coronado Theater.
‘Chicago,’ which along with the Rockford band ‘Cheap Trick,’ will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, will then play in Rockford on August 15th at 8pm.
Tickets for the performance will go on sale Friday, March 4 at 11 a.m, and range from $54 to $121.50. They will be sold at at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office, the Coronado Box Office, Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 815-968-5222.
Chicago’s record sales top the 100,000,000 mark, and include 21 Top 10 singles, 5 consecutive Number One albums, 11 Number One singles and 5 Gold singles. An incredible 25 of their 36 albums have been certified platinum, and the band has a total of 47 gold and platinum awards.
Hits include ’25 or 6 to 4′ and ‘Saturday in the Park.’
Incredibly, the Rockford Area Venues and Entertainment Authority says this is the band’s 49th consecutive year of touring without missing a single concert date.
