Rock County Deputies Enforce Pipeline Protest Security


Several Rock County Sheriff’s deputies hope to keep the peace protests ramp up in North Dakota.

Five officers deployed Sunday from Janesville to help patrol the Dakota Access Pipeline protest.  On Tuesday, police arrested more than two dozen people as thousands fight to protect Native American land.

The deputies have specialized training in crowd control.  They expect to return home next Tuesday.
