The Chicago-Rockford International Airport announced Thursday that they are looking for 100 volunteers to play “victims” in a simulated airline disaster drill.

According to the airport, the Federal Aviation Administration requires commercial airports to conduct full-scale disaster drills every three years.

The airport says it is looking for volunteers of all ages, but juveniles under 16 will need to provide parental consent and be accompanied by an adult.

All volunteers must arrive at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 26th.

Several area fire departments, ambulance services, and emergency management agencies will be participating.

Volunteers will be selected on a first come, first served basis. A volunteer form must be submitted by Friday, April 12th.
