The children’s clothing retailer Gymboree is expected to file for the second bankruptcy in two years and has plans to close all 900 of its stores.
Gymboree operates stores under the brands ‘Janie and Jack’ and ‘Crazy 8’ in addition to its namesake brand, and operates an outlet in the CherryVale Mall.
According to CNBC, the Gymboree Group is expected to file for bankruptcy protection as soon as this week.
Gymboree previously filed for bankruptcy in 2017, during which they were able to close 375 stores and continue operating.
