Rockford health council hosts domestic violence conference Tuesday

Domestic violence is an epidemic in the Stateline with 30 percent of violent crimes being domestic related.

City leaders and non-profit organizations have rallied together in order to combat this growing problem by educating residents. 

Rockford Regional Health Council and the Winnebago County Domestic Violence Coordinated Courts announced a full-day conference presented by nationally acclaimed trainer, Gael B. Strack.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center, 200 S. Bell School Road, Rockford, Illinois, from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
