Rockford is rising, and city-wide pride is growing, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The Chicago Tribune posted the article yesterday, detailing the city’s revitalization efforts, and the focus on downtown.

Local cultural attractions, including the Coronado Theatre and The Burpee Museum of Natural History, along with the variety of businesses and restaurants, are cited by the publication as the reasoning behind the downtown area’s rising popularity for both locals and tourists.

The city’s commitment to tying in aspects of Rockford’s history in new building projects also contribute to the resurgence of local pride.
