Rockford man accused of exchanging sexually explicit photos with juvenile

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police say 39-year-old Phillip Levatino turned himself in on child pornography charges after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police say they received a complaint that an under-age juvenile had been exchanging sexually suggestive messages and images through social media with a friend of the victim’s family.

Levatino was identified as a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police say Levatino turned himself in on Sunday, May 12th.

He faces 14 counts of Child Pornography and a charge of Grooming.

Levatino was taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
