Rockford Man Accused of Possessing Cocaine, Cannabis & Guns

A Rockford man was arrested earlier this month after police say he had more than 30 grams of cocaine and 500 grams of cannabis.

Miguel A. Castelan Jr., 26, was arrested on February 12. Winnebago County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit searched his home in the 2700 block of 21st Avenue, finding the drugs and two handguns. They also recovered $4,300 in cash.

Castelan has been charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and cannabis, armed violence and for no FOID card.
