53-year-old Ceasar Banks was arrested Friday for allegedly threatening his 25-year-old girlfriend with a gun, police said.

Rockford Police say they were called to a home in the 2000 block of Fulton Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Friday, where they learned Banks had allegedly made threats against the woman during an argument.

Officers then located Banks driving in the 1300 block of 5th Avenu and pulled him over and found the handgun in the car.

He was taken to the Winnebago County Jail on charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, and Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Felon.
