Rockford man arrested on drug dealing, weapons charges

24-year-old Daniel Hernandez was arrested by Rockford Police on Monday, for being suspected of dealing drugs in the city.

Rockford Police say they conducted an investigation in to Hernandez’s alleged narcotics distribution operation over the past several weeks, culmulnating in a search of his apartment, in the 2700 block of 10th Street.

Police say they recovered cocaine, cannabis, and a loaded gun. Hernandez was taken into custody.

Hernandez was charged with Armed Violence, Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, and Possession with Intent to Deliver Cannabis. 

He was lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.
