Rockford man arrested on weapons charges after month-long narcotics investigation


ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — 35-year-old Gregory Hill was arrested early Friday morning during a narcotics raid on his residence.

Rockford Police say they’ve been investigating Hill for a month on suspicion of drug trafficking, at his residence in the 200 block of South Chicago Avenue.

At 6:30 a.m., detectives executed a search warrant and took Hill into custody.

A loaded handgun was also recovered.

Hill was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon and no FOID card.

Police say the investigation is on going and more charged may be announced.
