Rockford man charged following drug raid on home

48-year-old James Coleman has been arrested on drug charges after Rockford Police raided his home on Thursday.

Police say they had been surveiling Coleman after complaints of suspicious drug activity at his home in the 3300 block of Tannenbaum Lane.

Authorities say detectives identified Coleman as the source of the complaints and executed a search warrant at his residence.

Seven ounces of cocaine were recovered.

Coleman was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, and two counts of Delivery of Cocaine.

He was lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.
