A Rockford man is accused of sexually assaulting an underage child.
On March 24th, the Rockford Police Department were notified about the possible sexual assault of a child at a residence in the 1300 block of N. Rockton Avenue.
Detectives investigated the case and arrested Daniel Williams, 36, for allegedly sexually assaulting a female family member, who was under the age of 13.
Williams has been charged with 2 counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault and 3 counts of Criminal Sexual Assault.
He’s currently lodged in the Winnebago County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
