21-year-old Vincent Haynes, Jr., of Rockford, has been charged as a suspect in a robbery to an ATM, and may be connected to several others that have occurred throughout the city, according to police.
Rockford Police say one of the incidents occurred at the Associated Bank at 1870 North Perryville Road, and based on evidence gathered there to identify Haynes, Jr. as a suspect.
Haynes was arrested Friday, January 4th on an unrelated warrant and the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office issued charges against him for Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property, and Possession of a Fraudulent Driver’s License.
Detectives are investigating whether Haynes was involved in the other robberies. He is currently being held in the Winnebago County Jail.
