A Rockford man was indicted by federal Grand Jury on Wednesday for possessing child pornography.
According to the indictment from the U.S. Department of Justice, Matthew Slaughter, 36, of Rockford, allegedly possessed a cell phone which contained “visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct” one of which was younger than 12-years-old.
The charge against Slaughter was the result of a joint investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Noblesville, Indiana Police Department.
Slaughter was indicted in Madison, Wisconsin.
